Department Commandants:
It has become a tradition the last 2 National Conventions for the Marines of the Southwest Division attending the National Convention, participate in a social get-together at a local establishment in the National Convention host city. Carrying on that tradition, I am asking that the Department Commandants disseminate the following information to all their Detachment Commandants and their members throughout their respective Department.
All members of the Southwest Division, Marine Corps League, and their guests, attending the National Convention in Springfield, Illinois are invited to an informal get together on Tuesday evening August 10th, 2021 at 1700 hours at D’Arcy’s Pint for dinner and a few beverages of your choice. Maps will be available for those attending. Please RSVP to Pat or Connie Connell before you leave for the Convention so we will have a sufficient head count for the venue.
