VA’s Million Veteran Program (MVP) needs your help!
MVP’s campaign to enroll 5,000 women Veterans is in its final weeks. More than 845,000 Veterans have already enrolled in the Million Veteran Program, making it the world’s largest genetic research program of its kind. Yet while there are roughly 2 million living women Veterans, only 76,000+ are currently enrolled in MVP, representing only 9% of all Veterans in the program.
Through the month of September, please help the word about MVP with your women Veterans by:
1) Publishing an announcement in your newsletters to Veterans (see blurbs attached)
2) Posting any of the attached Facebook posts to your VSO Facebook account
3) Including campaign materials in outreach events and/or inviting MVP staff to speak at any of your events
All materials (flyers, posters, one-pagers, FAQs, videos, etc) are available for download in the MVP women’s campaign toolkit.
For any questions, comments or suggestions, please contact Jennifer Deen, MVP’s Associate Director for Cohort and Public Relations. Thank you for all you have already done and for your continued support!
