Calling all Veterans and Caregivers: Leaders from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Philips invite you to join a virtual seminar on July 14, at 2pm EST focused on the needs of rural veterans and caregivers in the midst of COVID-19. Even under the best of circumstances, veteran families in rural areas often encounter challenges in accessing care and finding primary care providers. The COVID-19 crisis has only exacerbated these existing challenges.
During this one hour session, we are pleased to be joined by Dr. Thomas Klobucar, Executive Director of the VA Office of Rural Health, and Dr. Steven Lieberman, Principal Deputy Undersecretary for Health, for an update on VA operations amid COVID-19 and a presentation on Rural Health resources available to Veteran families. Steve Schwab, CEO of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, and Nathan Naylor, Vice President for Veterans Health Care with Philips, will introduce Project Atlas - a new partnership initiative aimed at establishing virtual clinics in rural regions of the country.
