In response to the Afghanistan crisis and impact to Veterans, families, caregivers and survivors, we are launching a daily #VetResources Check-In to let Veterans know they are not alone and provide daily resources, advice, information and strategies to cope with all the stressors around us.
Throughout the month of September and into October, VA will provide daily “VetResources Check-In” outlets for Veterans, families, caregivers, survivors, and employees to learn how to access mental health, coping strategies, resiliency skills, and other support tools via our Veteran News Network (VNN) - YouTube
VA’s objective is to provide a daily outlet for all Veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors to hear about mental health support that is evidence-informed, dependable, accessible, and valuable to help our Veterans and families cope with the world’s current events to improve whole health and prevent Veteran suicide.
Please help us share and promote these daily sessions to increase access and improve outcomes for our Veterans, families, caregivers and survivors.
Daily Session topics will be posted on our VA event page here: Outreach & Events | Outreach Events | Veterans Affairs (va.gov)
