DOD, the Military Departments and the MPHI project owners are working to increase ongoing, collective communication with residents and to improve responsiveness to concerns as we strive to ensure a positive experience for all military families living in privatized housing.
As part of these efforts, DOD and the Military Departments developed the tenant Bill of Rights that address the rights of military service members and their families residing in privatized housing as specified in The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020.
The tenant Bill of Rights commits the Department of Defense to ensuring privatized housing tenants receive quality housing and fair treatment from the MPHI project owners that operate and maintain privatized housing.
