We started another segment to the magazine as a tribute to detachments. In each issue of Semper Fi we would like to know more about a detachment’s namesake. There are so many really cool detachment names in our League and our readers may not know what was special about the person that moved the detachment to honor their name.
We are looking for about 400 words. Photos are great (high resolution), professional background, personal stories, etc.
If we are flooded with them, we would use more than one per issue. Presently, only a couple have been submitted. The next one will be needed not later than July 17, 2020.
